This Yamaha YCR6335HS 'Maestro' Cornet is presented in superb condition. It has been fully serviced by our in-house technicians and comes complete with original Yamaha case.
This "HS" (Heavy, Silver-plated) version was part of Yamaha's professional cornet range before the later 6335II generation.
These heavy-wall / heavy-bell Yamaha professional cornets have a loyal following, particularly among brass band players who like a broad, centred sound. A clean example can be surprisingly desirable because Yamaha no longer makes this exact design.
Among Yamaha cornets, the YCR-6335HS has a particularly good reputation because it was built during the period when Yamaha's professional brass instruments were becoming established in top brass bands. Many players still actively seek these instruments because they combine Yamaha reliability with a more substantial feel than the current medium-weight designs.
