Made in the German Democratic Republic in 1980, this lovely pre-owned Monnig 208/2 bassoon would suit any player from beginner to intermediate level.
Made from Bosnian maple, it has 24 keys including High D and 5 rollers.
This bassoon comes complete with No, 2 bocal, case, stand, 2x reed cases and a BG harness.
Monnig bassoons have been made traditionally using hand craftmanship for over 100 years while at the same time using the most feasible modern precision production methods available. The special mountain maple has always been supplied from the Highland of Bosnia in specially selected quality. All of Monnig's wood is seasoned naturally for over 10 years in their own facilities before being accepted for production. Monnig's constant contact with leading well-known musicians enables them to continually further develop and improve their bassoons to attain optimal tonal characteristics.
