The African Grenadilla blackwood is carefully selected for its acoustic and aesthetic qualities and is carefully polished to preserve its natural colour.
All of the mechanics are prepared and finished with great precision. The tenons of the body are crimped and protected by metal rings to reduce the risk or cracks. The nickel silver keys (an alloy of copper, zinc and nickel) are cold forged, copper-plated then plated with silver.
