Adler 1357 Bassoon (pre-owned)

Description:

Made In the Democratic Republic of Germany, this Adler 1357 Bassoon is presented in excellent condition with minor wear to the nickel plating on just a couple of the keys, and very little wear at all to the varnished maple body.   

The 1357 model includes some advanced keywork: high D key, extra low C touch, five rollers, left hand thumb whisper key lock, three trill keys, extra Bb, F#, and G# keys.

All of Adler’s bassoons are made from mountain special mountain maple wood, supplied from the Highland of Bosnia in specially selected quality. All of it is seasoned naturally for over 10 years in Adler’s Markneukirchen facilities before being accepted for production.
