  Formed from the aspirations of two people in 1991 Jazzhouse has grown into a not for profit organisation run by six volunteers with funding support from Arts Council England, Nottinghamshire County Council, Gedling Borough Council, the PRS (Performing Rights Society). Our regular venue at Arnold's Bonington Theatre provides a convivial atmosphere, a fabulous Steinway piano, good acoustics and a space that works well either using raked seating or cabaret style with tables and chairs. Working with our consortium partner Lakeside Arts Centre we are proud of the programme of high quality performances in jazz and contemporary music that are regularly run under the umbrella title of Jazzsteps.
